Valentines day pet photo contest

Valentines day is just around the corner and all you pet lovers out there will be shmoozing your pets as much as your significant other. There will be special treats to eat, lots of tender loving care, and a little extra pampering is suspect as well. There will be more than the average number of “special” moments and the question is, will you have your camera ready?

Whether you are the type to either have your camera attached to your arm the majority of your day, or just a casual shooter, this might be the season to get your best shots of the furry loved ones in your life.

The Holiday pet photo contest was such a big success, it seemed another holiday themed competition might be in order. And what better holiday than the sweet and sentimental holiday, Valentines Day? (Full article)

Pet photographers paradise: St. Louis Mardi Gras’: Beggin’ Pet Parade February 7, 2010

One of the largest pet parades in the US is about to take place in St. Louis. What a fabulous photo op for area pet photographers, especially those looking for a journalist event for this years portfolio.

So photographers be ready! Get out your cameras, charge up the batteries and clear all your memory cards. The pet blogs will be hopping for weeks to come with all the St. Louis party animal photographs, and I literally mean party animals.

Aside from the parade their will be other activities throughout the day. Parade sponsors promise family fun for the entire day and that includes the furry family members too! (full article)

I didn’t take alot of photos for this event. Gary was my friend for more than 20 years and I found it far too emotional to hold a camera and try concentrating on getting all those “best” shots.

At request of family and friends, here’s what I do have.
