Gila's Place

A menagerie of eclectic things…

Took that hiatus from shooting pro almost two years ago and I have to admit, even though it’s been a relief I have sure missed all those smiling faces and preserving memories for so many great people. I still get calls wanting to know if I’ll book a session, and generally I pass. I’m just not ready to get back into the hustle and bustle of it all.

Occasionally though, I get a call or message for someone I can’t say no to. Someone I look forward to catching up and seeing how her family still grows.

I’ve known Tisha for almost 25 years. We have been friends from the word go, even though I warned her straight up I wasn’t what she was used to dealing with. I thought we were so different when we were really so much the same.

It’s all in presentation, right Tisha?

I’m a little out of practice but I certainly enjoyed our visit and shoot. There are many images to go through before I decide what to keep and what to throw away.

Here are a few that popped out at me.

I’m pretty sure Mason will want to kill me for these when he is older.
I’ll take my chances 🙂
Oh, and you know I had to have a shot of the dog 😉 Meet Luna.
