Like millions of people in the US, restaurant owner Angie Ugarte has had enough. She decided to have her say about current affairs and make sure it was heard.
Have a look at the sign she hung on her restaurant door.

Angie put the sign up on her door the day we lost 13 service men and woman in Afghanistan as they were trying to aid people in leaving the country. For months our president had been telling the world, “We will leave no one behind.” But that’s exactly what the US government has done in Afghanistan. The white House says a few hundred, but true reports coming in show that we left thousands behind, including men, woman, and children.
“I was just angry. I was just let down. I felt like one of those mothers, or wives, or sisters who were gonna get that knock on the door,” said Angie. “If you really, really still stand behind what’s allowed this to happen and the way it happened – which was unnecessary then I really don’t want to be associated with you in any way and I certainly don’t want your business.”
Well said, Angie. I completely agree.
