So, just a quick post for those of you who wonder where I come up with things-to-do with what grows around us.
This couple decided to eat only what they could grow, gather, or raise, for an entire year. They learned a lot and are passing along their knowledge. I am obliged to pay attention. My brain just can’t get enough of things like this.
Personally, I batter and bread the dandelions I have cooked, and yes, they are really good.
And while not a hot coffee drinker, I love to make my own iced coffee with almond milk and chocolate. Makes giving dandelion roots worth a try. Can’t wait until next spring to try.
